Meeting point outside Barbican Tube Station 11am.
Come and join us on this architectural photography workshop where we will visit some of the most iconic architecture London has to offer.
You should bring your camera, spare batteries, SD cards and lenses of choice (usually ultra wides like 15-35mm but longer lenses might come in handy for some compositions) bring what you can comfortably carry, it is a whole day out and about.
In adittion you can bring a tripod (light weight better) and some filters but I will bring one tripod and filters for everyone to use and make it possible for you to come in lighter and save some weight.
Topics we will touch upon:
- Coverging lines.
- Tilt-shift lens movement theory.
- Rectilinear and specialty lenses.
- Filters, ND, polarizing and red.
- Composition and planing the shot with the sun.
- stacking up filters and long exposures.
- White balance setup depending on time of day and subject.
- Editing and correction of verticals.
- Follow up in a few weeks time TBD
We will cover as much ground and interesting locations as possible without rushing the workflow until the sky gets dark past the blue hour.
